Kayla Harris

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

I'm Kayla Harris, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works with individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents, and groups. I hold dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies, as well as a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, all from Duquesne University. I am currently pursuing a PhD to keep growing in this work.

My practice incorporates evidence-based methods, including CBT, DBT, and EMDR, as well as family systems, mindfulness, trauma-informed yoga, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD. I support clients facing grief, identity concerns, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care and specialized support for sexually related trauma and eating disorders. My work also focuses on gun violence prevention and trauma recovery. Additionally, I facilitate group therapy to foster healing in a supportive environment.

At the core of my work is the belief that everyone deserves to be seen, known, and understood. I strive to create an authentic and inclusive environment where your story, identity, and culture are honored, not overlooked.

Communities thrive when supported, and that starts with the people and families within them.
